Le premier album solo de Dr Dre, The Chronic, sorti en 1992, a été ajouté au registre national des albums de la Bibliothèque du Congrès. La Bibliothèque du Congrès et le Librarian’s National Recording Preservation Board ont sélectionné The Chronic et 24 autres albums ou chansons « dignes de préservation » pour les ajouter aux prestigieuses archives.
